Mobile car detailing in Glastonbury, CT

We detail your car on your own driveway in Glastonbury — the Center, South Glastonbury, Buckingham, Addison, Hopewell, and the roads running down toward the river. Interior $175, exterior $145, full detail $275, every price published on this page. No quote form and no waiting on a callback. Sand and salt thrown up off Route 2 all winter, orchard dust and dried mud in the wheel arches after a run up Matson Hill, sap off the old fruit trees: we arrive with our own water, our own power and the full kit, and we do not leave until you have walked around the car with us.

What we clean in Glastonbury

Three services, one price each, whatever you drive. A sedan's tight footwells take us longer than a truck's flat panels, so we don't charge you more for the easier job.

+$75 for 3-row SUVs, vans, dually pickups, and luxury or exotic vehicles. All prices exclude tax. Tax is collected at the time of payment.

Where we come to you in Glastonbury

Two things make Glastonbury cars dirty in ways the rest of our patch is not. The first is Route 2. It is the commuter run into Hartford, it gets salted hard and early, and brine sits in the seams and up under the sills where a drive-through wash never reaches — that is undercarriage work, not a rinse. The second is the southern half of the town. Once you are past Hopewell onto the orchard and farm roads around Matson Hill and Country Club Road, the surface turns to dirt and loose gravel for a good part of the year, and every car that comes back down carries it in the arches, in the carpets and ground into the door shuts. Add the sap and blossom drop from parking under old fruit trees and you get a paint problem, not just a dirty car. The upside for us is that Glastonbury has room: long private driveways almost everywhere, so we can set up properly instead of working tight against a kerb.

We don't leave until you're happy

Walk around the car with us before we go. Anything you're not happy with, we put right there and then — no questions asked.

Glastonbury questions

Do you cover South Glastonbury and the farm roads, or just the Center?

Both. South Glastonbury is 06073 and we are there as often as we are in the Center. If you are up one of the dirt or gravel stretches off Matson Hill or Country Club Road, say so when you book — it does not change the price, it just tells us to bring extra water for the arches and underbody, because that is where the grit actually is.

My car lives on Route 2 all winter. Can you get the salt off properly?

Yes, and it is worth doing before spring rather than after. A wash takes the salt off the paint; it does not touch what is packed into the sills, the subframe and the seams underneath, which is where corrosion actually starts. Our undercarriage flush is $79 on its own, or it comes as part of a full detail at $275. Prices exclude sales tax, collected at payment.

Can you get dried orchard mud out of the carpets and the boot?

Usually all of it. Dried mud is easier than people expect — it is loose dirt bound to the fibre rather than a stain, so hot-water extraction lifts it out rather than smearing it around, and that is included in every interior and full detail. Ground-in clay that has been walked over all autumn may lift most of the way and no further. Send a photo before you book and we will tell you which one it is.

There is tree sap all over the roof from parking under the fruit trees. Is that fixable?

In most cases yes. Fresh sap comes off with a dedicated solvent and no drama. Sap that has sat through a hot spell etches into the clear coat and needs the paint machine-polished to level it out, which is paint correction at $449 rather than a wash. We will tell you honestly which one you are looking at when we see it, and we will not charge you for correction you do not need.

Do you cross the river to Wethersfield and Rocky Hill?

Yes. We take the Putnam Bridge on Route 3 and cover Wethersfield and Rocky Hill from this crew, along with East Hartford, Manchester, Marlborough and Hebron. Do not count on the Rocky Hill ferry — it only runs May to October and it does not take our van. If you are in Portland, East Hampton or Cromwell you are closer to our Middletown crew on (860) 775-7572.

Do I need to be home while you work on it?

No. Most Glastonbury driveways give us all the room we need, so leave the keys somewhere agreed and get on with your day. We bring our own water and our own power, so nothing runs off your outside tap or your garage outlet. We message you when the car is finished and walk around it with you whenever you are back, and nothing is charged until you have seen it.
